Simon Ashcroft on Nostr: Endless Night My daylight ends, my old darkness calls me home, for dawn abandoned me; ...
Endless Night
My daylight ends, my
old darkness calls me home, for
dawn abandoned me;
the Sun fled, and lights beyond
my West, where I am unheard.
Hell is a private
place I carry within me,
and endure, alone;
a trusting heart was hurt, though
it was so great a treasure.
Will I be alone
when we are reduced to ash,
and freed of this world?
Or, will love join us - no more
damaged by our tortured minds?
