HED Placer County Fair’s Newest Winner
Place County Fair officials decided last year that they needed an update, and added Largest Custom Lifeform as a blue-ribbon category. This year’s winner is Mira Sind-Lee, with her bioengineered tick.
“It wasn’t just science, it was a labor of love. Pinchy has been a joy to have around.”
Pinchy edged out a massive termite to win. No word on the missing carvings from the art pavilion.
