We use a combination of outdoor compost bins, indoor worm bins, & Bokashi bins so nothing organic goes in our trash.
We recycle as much as possible, avoid plastics when possible. Our actual trash generated is very small - maybe a small kitchen trash can full every 2 weeks for 2 people.
