The old mattress had springs coming out all over, tore my full encasement mattress cover to shreds on the bottom. The carpet under the bed is covered with rotten foam chunks.
So: the cost of the old mattress: $250 + tax
All the various mattress toppers I bought that just slipped everywhere: $260
The full encasement mattress cover: $90
Total: $600 + tax on the old mattress
The New Mattress: $620 out the door, the delivery guy even carried it up the stairs for free even though he's supposed to charge us $100
So, WE SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A GOOD MATTRESS IN THE FIRST PLACE ffs
