Firefox has disappointed me recently by pivoting to AI, buying ad tech companies started by Meta veterans, and now they have a competes-with-chrome "privacy preserving" ad reporting function built in.
It's obvious that they have begun the process of selling their browser users to other interests in earnest. Unfortunately, there's nowhere else to turn at this point.
