Engaged in self destructing Tweets for self amusement for years. A toxic chronic deleter;)
Contrary to assumption, deleting posts was not out of fear or because I care what other people think - was pure curiosity/ thought experiment.
As An anon with 15 followers it began as Wonder of the shortest amount of time and fewest number of people necessary to see something in order to push dialogue at large.
Then was for novelty -Deleted most twitter posts between 21 seconds and 21 minutes after creating (no one noticed/ cared but me - an inside joke that wasn’t really funny )
At times, was simply driven by autonomy (knowing that under surveillance state nothing is ever truly deleted) taking control of my data, making it disappear (TTL) seemed like an inside flex. (backed up most all the tweets on ‘private’ I phone🙃)
Finally, was actually censored for having a critical thinking, sketchy, shit posting anon account ….and began to understand the nature of the beast.
Enter Nostr… where questions (as a novice) surpass answers, there is no facade that things can be deleted, and with ample opportunity to stay humble and
practice non attachment to the permanent and impermanent.
The journey is the destination ;)
