This is exactly the thought I’ve been having lately. We shouldn’t see the inability to exactly recreate Twitter as failure, we should lean into the organic nature of these new systems. People’s real world social networks are small and disconnected. It’s a good thing if no one is experiencing a collective “what happened on nostr today”.
