Like it or not, USians look to prominent characters to tell them what to do. The Myth of the Strong Leader is alive and well in the right *and* the left, and people NEED someone to articulate their position, so they can point and say “yeah, what SHE said.”
I think Harris has a good chance here of becoming the leader of the resistance, and she use it to her political advantage in the future.
