I understood that "less likely" there for fomite transfer for measles is not "near zero" as for fomite transfer for COVID.
Searching around; find some half-century old case reports of fomite transmission of measles and some more recent lab work suggesting it can happen by people coughing out cells containing the measles virus, which remain infectious for longer than unprotected virus: https://journals.plos.org/plospathogens/article?id=10.1371/journal.ppat.1009458 .
Either way; airborne spread dominates and people should wear their masks.
