Both our System Updater and App Store are fully compatible with using a VPN and both permit using any network by default. It indicates a configuration issue with their device. A huge portion of the connections to our update servers are through VPNs. If there was a general issue with people updating over VPNs, there would be a flood of issues about it. Certain Tor nodes block connections to GrapheneOS update servers which will show up as user facing errors.",
