As I am praising the series, I would also add that the continuous story of Benjamin and Jake is still the most realistic depiction of a healthy (though not always conflict free) long term father-child relationship I have seen in any TV series.
Besides that: Avery Brooks (Commander/Captain Sisko) is such a fabulous actor that I was also a bit disappointed, he never became a real star.
