Well, you know, one that was fairly small I forgot to mention was a small black obsidian griffin statue. 3.1 x 7.7 x 3.5 cm (1.2 x 3.0 x 1.3 inches?)

All solid black, but I do like obsidian.

With the two similar metal griffins I mentioned, the one on a rectangle was 7 x 7.5 x 3.25 inches, and the circular version was 6.5 x 9.75 x 5.75 inches, so a fair amount larger then the obsidian statue. The bases look like they have some celtic knotwork on them, too.
