Bob Boss (guitar) was not well known outside of the #SanDiego area. He was a top-tier musician that chose to have a low-key career. Happy to play in bars, local events and corporate gigs, he was proud to have raised his family and put his kids through college with those gigs. He had a warm heart and great stories to tell. He mentored many #jazz musicians here.
Bob was my good friend. He passed away unexpectedly last night. RIP Bob Boss 1952-2024.
