I have some demos trying to build a p2p connection with webrtc using nostr as the signal channel to transverse NAT. It’s working on one-side NAT, but I’m still working towards two-side NAT. But to nostr that uses websockets (p2b) it’s already a good alternative. I’m trying to bootstrap using nostr (websocket) and upgrade to webrtc p2p shared notes more like for small communities. I mean, in my community I don’t really need to know Whois zuck,musk or gates. I only need my friends notes and money.
