i am to be profound when i commit something to writing and put it in public online for general consumption.
compared to others, my writing, while very dense, is usually always not the simplest way to make my argument.
perhaps this is a failing in my writing skills, but i think it is missing the point. i can accept that any particular person who engages with my writing voice might not like its style.
however i always put the effort in to adapt my attempts to understand another's voice in their writing.
imagine saying this in person to someone: i don't like the way you said that. apparently it is permitted to do that online, and is usually the main basis for dismissing someone's arguments.
all i expect is that if you are trying to make sense in writing in ANY medium, you make at LEAST one argument. this means you at LEAST attempt to claim something is thus-and-so about the world, and give at least one single reason why.
