India Canada spat is yet another sign of India’s belligerence and vacuous posturing as its foreign policy. I worry that this is heading towards an ominous trend, India is no longer the gentle elephant it was perceived to be:

This may not strategically end well for India unfortunately. India has needlessly pawned itself to the West’s bargain about a problem it would conveniently let pass as a big power.
Instead looks like Modi’s desperation to create hubris around next year’s election and madness at seeking revenge against the Sikhs who taught him a lesson will cost India badly.
