The war was launched by Hamas, not the Palestinians. The target of the retaliation is Hamas, not the Palestinians. But Hamas has wrapped the Palestinians around them as human shields.
If we're talking about religions, I find little of value in either Judaism or Islam; no more than I do in Christianity. I oppose the fundie versions of these as much as I do fundie Christianity.
