Train #35 is the Tobu SL Taiju, pulled and pushed by little diesel electric DE10 1099 and steam locomotive C11 123, a 2-6-4T tank engine. C11 123 is the most recently restored of Tobu's three C11s, and is one of the rare steam locomotives in Japan that's always been privately owned. I spent most of the hour long ride in the open section in the middle.
