Small mishap, but I'm now awake: I mistakenly moved 1150 files into the wrong directory (those pesky wildcards with a space prepended, you know?), but thanks to Unix, a bit of `ls | grep -v | grep -v | sed -e ...' fixed things.
Roughly ten filenames caused problem.
Which reminds me: after the revolution, people who put parentheses or single quotes in file names will be stood up against a wall.
