I was watching a video about drafting sleeves and going "That's a whatchamacallit curve shape thing! There's probably a formula for this involving pi and/or sin and you're just eyeballing it with a measuring tape!"
I wonder if there'd be a market for a book on "Maths for Crafts" either for people who actually want to use maths to upskill their crafts or (very different audience) in school teaching to make examples not all about sports fields and stuff.
