I am more likely to agree with, and have more in common with, someone closer to my age, than with someone who shares my gender, sexual orientation, race, or religion.
I don’t know if this is true of everyone, but I find true of Gen X. I find the worldview pretty consistent across the board. It’s not absolute, but it’s better than random.
