Only in a free market and a free society may these owners and their agents calculate prices of virtually infinite goods and rationally allocate factors of production to build up a sufficiently robust capital structure for satisfying the most urgent wants of individuals. Any government program or government sponsored enterprise violently takes as much as it wants from society’s resources and either uses it (costs incl. goods forgone, shortages, deficiencies, low quality services) or transfers it willy nilly to a privileged few. A strategic national stockpile, sovereign wealth fund, etc will be funded by stealing the time and energy you’ve stored in dollars and its proxies.
