I used to always enter alt text for all photos until about 2 months ago when it seems there was a #mastodon server software update. Ever since then I can’t enter the alt text (no enter button to press) and can’t highlight image sections as I can’t scroll at all anymore when using the alt text menu. The image pic here is an example of what I see, with no ability to scroll, resize or find the enter button. Using safari on iOS. I then tried the mastodon app and it won’t let me compress image file sizes down. So will continue using via browser, compress image file sizes, but no #alttext. :(
