There was a homeless outreach program going on in Whitemore Square providing meals this morning on my walk back from #VealeGardens #Adelaide and as I was walking past I was curious to see the gender stats for homelessness in the area, so I sat on a bench nearby and covertly counted without staring, I counted 7 women and 68 men :( It's sad that there are so many massively inflated housing prices around in Adelaide right now and yet so many in need.
