That is the problem. Free markets benefit the elites and oligarchy eventually since this system works cumulatively for the benefit of big corporations. Also that means they have bigger influence since they can create lobbies and they are the main source of corruption eventually. No surprise that there are so many lobbies based in Brussells to influence the EU for the benefit of the oligarchs. Capitalism is far from a perfect system and has its flaws. I am not asking to replace capitalism with socialism (or state capitalism as some people call socialism), but we should recognise these flaws for what they are and not asking for more capitalism to correct capitalism. A state cannot cover everything anyway, the private sector is needed nevertheless
