On a side note, the method of governance that Leoni mentioned reminded me a lot of how Israel, beginning with Moses, setup their initial form of government.

They had this form for nearly 400 years.

No king. No legislature. But judges.

Now, this was theocratic in nature, and applied the Mosaic Law. But I find it interesting that such a system existed, so long ago, without a "central planning" system.

Makes you wonder if we can do it today, in a liberal form, especially with the technology we have today.
