I asked this, by the way, because an event occurred over the weekend in Alabama, and it’s the kind of thing that has generated a ton of jokes and memes. Every platform is teeming with it, Tiktok, Insta, Facebook, even, and of course TOFKATwitter and its corporate analogs cannot get enough.
There hasn’t been a single mention of it here that I have seen, even scrolling through the general Federated timeline.
Part of that is owing to the racial demographics here. The fed is depressingly white.
