SovereigntyQuest on Nostr: There's been something on my mind since listening to the Nostrica stream yesterday. ...
There's been something on my mind since listening to the Nostrica stream yesterday. While Nostr provides a massively positive censorship resistant protocol for all on earth, self-censorship is as real as the bones in my body for a huge number of people. Despite me and my wife escaping, along with hundreds of thousands of others, from the physical location of where we are from, we remain cognisant and frankly terrified of what happens if we "talk out of turn". I sometimes feel like I'm bursting at the seams wanting to recount and express my experience but there is no place safe on earth. What makes it even more frustrating is that a shockingly large number of "western" governments, banks, media and institutions actually cooperate with the regime.
I hope that many of you can appreciate that while we can access nostr and seemingly "openly" chat, we must avoid discussing what should be the most important issues that we face. Perhaps readers will understand my unwillingness to go into detail. Millions of us over the last few years experienced a brutal overthrow of our home and we are condemned to silence until the regime finally collapses.
