Does anyone know if it's safe for a #trans woman to travel to #Italy?

My daughter had a medical emergency while on a trip over there, and I might need to go be with her / get her and bring her home.

I would only be there for a couple of days. I’m mostly interested in knowing if it’s illegal there to use public restrooms, that sort of thing. (I know the government is right wing, I’m just interested in immediate threats.)
