My fault, it must be set to true, not to false 🤦 . Setting this value disables the collection, not the sending; the currently collected inboxes will eventually disappear due to the data purge. You can delete all files in the 'inbox' subdirectory manually if you don't want to wait.
As I've said, I'm not too happy with this code and will probably change it in the near future (or make it disappear completely).
