a friend of mine who died this year (78 yo) used to tell me stories - the days when a poor white or black from the South could go to Detroit & have a plethora of good paying jobs to choose from. He worked there several years then used his GI Bill to get his law degree. He told me things changed when they no longer needed us aka globalism
