Re: last boost it's very hard to describe how far a little money would have gone when I was living on the streets of San Diego in the early 90s. Enough for a few days of hotel, toiletries, clothes that hadn't been washed in a river, and some food would have meant that I could accept the job I was offered if I "cleaned myself up". My entire life would have been changed.
Punishing homelessness costs everyone, and it's been proven again and again.
