Like, for example, I like women, as in I like women sexually, and I like biological women. That does not mean that I will not be friends with, or bond with, other people, including trans/male individuals. If it was to be purely platonic, then hell, not only would I date a trans woman, I'd even date a man, because there would be no kissing or fucking, just cuddling maximum.

But for a regular relationship, ones that include sexual activities, kissing, etc, that is not something I would be comfortable with. There is a point where it stops being platonic and becomes something where sexuality needs to come into play.
