These were new bells that were created to replace some badly-cast bells made in the 1850s. They were dedicated in 2013 to great fanfare. Luckily, they were not harmed in the fire of 2019. If the belfries had been damaged by the fire, they might have come down the towers and possibly destroyed the whole building! 😬
