When we buy BTC P2P we never know if the coins were once coinjoined, or if they have an illegal origin, and this can cause you problems if you transfer them to an exchange to trade it for fiat. Your BTC may be blocked and lost. So the solution is, (when you acquire) whenever and whoever you buy from (provided it is a P2P), send them to a lightning address and afterwards to your cold wallet. When you decide to send them to an exchange do the reverse action, send them on-chain to another on chain hot wallet (like Blue Wallet for example) and then to Lightning inside Blue Wallet. Blue Wallet has this feature, to make the exchange inside it from on chain to lightning. Hope to have helped! Do I deserve some sats?
