According to HUD, it would cost about $20 billion to "end" #homelessness in the #UnitedStates. We've sent hundreds of billions of dollars all over the world to fight in or fund other people's wars this year.
The problem with this country's leadership isn't that situations are "complex", they're really quite simple. It's not that they "can't" solve the big problems, it's that they are choosing not to.
