Yes, I still use the $5 Linodes for the email services, I use the $3 VPS by Binary lane for the DNS secondaries, but all my domains are rooted in the OVH bare metals. I use proxmox and lxc containers, Proxy manager and floating IPs, kernel routing to configure any scenario. I am running lots of YunoHosts, too.
