Apple removing support for web apps will not affect the web in any way. Safari will still be there, ready to browse the web just like before. All they are removing is the "worst of both worlds" crap that both users and developers hate, which btw, Apple were the ones trying to force people into, but the users and developers won and Apple had no choice but to allow native apps.
