Thanks.... I own a tree farm in SE Arkansas and I am considering planting about 7 acres of Chinese Chestnuts (blight resistant) . Everything I read indicates they should do well for me depending on soil testing (yet to be done). Most people who plant them seem to do so as a food source for deer. They plant 2 or 3 here and there. I would love to talk to someone who grows chestnuts to harvest and sell their crop.
