Thanks. I'm no longer active on socialhub because the toxicity was overwhelming.

I think on the short term, we'll be signing entire documents - as we have traditionally done with ld-signatures, so I don't think this affects anything we're currently doing or that is in progress. But it is my hope to be able to sign things at different granularities going forward. Unless I missed something obvious, I think I should be able to just repeat the context in the signed blob in addition to its signed wrapper. A bit wasteful but probably necessary.
