I think, if they haven't already, Meta may as well halt their laughably-slow fediverse rollout. Very few wanted to interop with them in the first place, but its policy changes put it beyond the point of no return. I was very pro-federation, but the window has passed, and to Bluesky's benefit. I think it's now much more clear that non-US social-media is just not compatible with US social-media (and I'm not sure that's a bad thing), and that's a gulf that's only going to widen over coming years
