10 years ago at Thanksgiving, my extended family drove out to support me 'n the kids while seeing my late wife once last time before she passed. I was bracing myself for what it'd be like to raise the 5 kids on my own.

Fast forward to today. Two of my hardworking boys are still with me. One is far away at college studying STEM. The daughters both just left, heading back to their own homes with their husbands and kids.

What a difference a decade makes.
