So, a genocide apologist just now was explaining to me that it's fine to bomb children who are being raised to hate.
I asked them wtf their parents had been teaching THEM, and they seem to have blocked me.
Palestinian children are being raised in an open-air prison where they are treated like animals. Of course they'll tend to hate their oppressors-- no matter what their parents happen to be teaching them. Israel may as well be FARMING terrorism, cultivating violence as a self-fulfilling prophecy.
This all runs on abuser logic. Hurt someone, make them angry, then say "oh shit look how angry that person is, I should hurt them" and then it's a short step to, "look they really REALLY hate me now, there's no fixing this, so, may as well just finish them all off!"
If every time a person is abused, or taught a violent ideology, or hates someone who has hurt them, the only sensible option is to just fucking slaughter them-- if we really can't envision how peace is built, how people recover from trauma and learn to live together... Then, if I agree with this genocide apologist's OWN LOGIC... a person who's grown up so warped that they actually think bombing children is a good idea, I'd have to assume that they, too, have been so warped by their hateful, murderous belief system that THEY need to be bombed as well. Hell, while we're at it, may as well just destroy the entire human race. We're all too hateful and dangerous to be allowed to live.
