Agree, we need players to step up. Cuti against Arsenal was an example. But that's not a sustainable strategy. You need everyone to step up all at the same time. Individual heroics are a last resort, at best. Cuti being the hero was because we collectively failed. I don't see that as a desirable state to be in.
