Apple Shortcuts & Home automation is the most bizarrely unreliable poorly-featured, inconvenient, inconsistent interface. It's much better than nothing! But it is definitely nowhere near Apple quality on any axis. Even the simplest shortcuts are a nightmare to assemble, made all the worse by an interface which feels like it's flakily fighting you every step of the way.
