It was spring when I took this picture and, shame on me, I never tried to identify the bug until today.
Doing a quick search I learned that these little beetles can be a common domestic pest, and it's a well-known pest for natural history museums, specially for insect collections.
Their larvae feed on keratin and chitin from feathers, hair and dead insects. Sparrow nests are often hosting these mofos (adults and larvae) and that's how they find a way to enter museums through roof and windows 😨
Adults feed on pollen, and love daisy family.
