Due to various health issues, I take 6 pills in the morning, 3 in the evening and another 2 before bed. So I have resisted taking thyroid medicine for years but today I finally agreed to take Synthroid. My thyroid has alternated between low normal and underactive for 10 years and it's time to admit being gluten free isn't enough. Booo. But I'm still skeptical it will make me feel better.
