If you're looking for cross-party cooperation, Alaska's instant runoff system has done a great job. Ever since it took effect, the legislature has stopped with the hotbutton culture war issues and policy is now set by constantly shifting cross-party coalitions. And it's not like PR guarantees good interparty relations - look at the endless struggles in Belgium. Sometimes more than a year without a government!
