Hey, it's Day 3 of #DecRecs ! Today's entry is Kalyna the Soothsayer, by Elijah Kinch Spector. It's a lively, undemanding story about a sham prophet, that gave me exactly the same vibes I used to get reading SFF mass market paperbacks from my father's bookshelf when I was 15.

Except, it's a modern book, and so lacks a lot of that stuff that made my father's collection 'problematic', in modern parlance.
