I am very keen on worlds with unknowable systems - because all real world systems are way too complex for any one person to understand. I think such things arise and exist not generally because of evil, but remain because people who might have the power to change them don't recognise that they are, in fact, evil. I also mostly write about poor people who have multitudinous problems that are never going to get fixed, because again, real world.
